Academic Research
This section is related to my academic and scientific activities. I have received both my Bachelor and Master degrees at the University of Waterloo and continue pursuing my PhD there. During my studies and research work I have gathered lots of materials that might be useful to the students and other reasearchers. You can find some of these documents published here on the site, while I will try to add more as time permits.
Research Interests
My areas of interest are non-linear optimization (trust region methods, semi-definite programming, conjugate gradient-based methods), regularization methods, and risk management.
I am currently a PhD student at the Management Sciences Department of the Engineering Faculty, University of Waterloo. I would define my specialization as Operations Research, which can be thought as an area which combines mathematical optimization, economics, and management theory.
Assorted Materials
Assignments and solutions for the CS241 (Foundations of Sequential Programs) course given at University of Waterloo.
