Punctuation Rules

Mon 7 Aug 2006 | 3:29 PM | Oleg Grodzevich

Yet another example of how important a single comma can become. Not suprising that a mind-twisting language of lawyers would play an evil joke on themselves. Rogers Communications Inc. now faces to pay an extra $2.13-million all due to a punctuation problem in the contract. “The Globe and Mail” has the story.

One thing I wonder, whether the other party, Alliant, would win in the long term. It wouldn’t be suprising that other companies avoid making deals with them from now on.
